Kilets Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 August 2026.
Family learning service
Kilets is a parent-led family learning app developed and operated by JOAT Limited that records virtual pocket-money decisions. It is not a bank, payment service, stored-value facility, investment service, or financial adviser. It does not store, transfer, or process real money.
Family and child use
Only a parent/admin can create a family and add child members. Parents/admins are responsible for child profiles, supervision, and keeping Family Passcodes and Admin Passcodes secure. Each member must use their own authenticated account and join only an authorized family.
Acceptable use
Do not access a family without authorization, upload unlawful or harmful content, misuse or threaten other users, or bypass authentication, role, or passcode protections. Do not upload sexual content involving minors, content that exploits or endangers children, or content that is abusive, hateful, or invasive of privacy. Content is shared only with active members of the relevant family; Kilets is not a public social network or open messaging service. It is not a one-to-one chat platform. Safety concerns, including child-safety concerns, can be reported through the in-app safety-report form or by emailing support@kilets.com. Do not include passcodes or unnecessary child information.
Child safety standards and reporting
Users must not create, upload, request, share, or distribute child sexual abuse or exploitation material (CSAE), grooming, sexual exploitation, or other conduct that endangers children. Report a child-safety concern through the in-app safety-report form or email support@kilets.com. Designated child-safety contact: support@kilets.com. We may restrict access, remove content, preserve minimum necessary evidence, and escalate to counsel, emergency services, or law enforcement where required by applicable law. This contact is not an emergency service.
Deletion
Signed-in users can start account deletion from the pre-family landing screen before joining a family, or from Kilets Settings after joining a family. For a child account, linked child profile and child-scoped data are also removed. Shared family records may remain for other family members. If deletion leaves no active adult member, the family is closed and remaining child profiles are disabled. Additional requests can be made through Account and data deletion.
